Elaine Zhou, MD, specializes in ophthalmology. She chose this specialty because she wanted the privilege to change a person’s quality of life through sight. In addition to treating routine eye disease, she has special training and experience in complex cataract and corneal surgeries, especially for eyes that have previous trauma or complicated pathology.
Dr. Zhou is passionate about educating her patients. She defines quality healthcare as making up-to-date, evidence-based medicine available to everyone who needs it. She believes in individualized care and takes time to listen and understand the unique needs of every patient to provide the best treatment possible. When she’s not in the clinic or operating room, she enjoys listening to audiobooks, running, and playing pickleball.
